Join Our Team

Flexibility is very important to us and we welcome applications from teachers who can offer more than one subject or who would consider a flexible working pattern. Applications from NQTs or experienced teachers are welcome.

We are looking for the following subjects:
English (and/or English with Drama)
Maths (and/or Maths with Computing)
Science (Chemistry or Physics)
Geography (must offer another Humanities subject)
RS (must offer another Humanities subject)
History (must offer another Humanities subject)
MFL (French)
Design Technology (preferably with Food Specialism)
Art
Music
Computing
PE (preferably with dance)

Data Administrator – Full time, term time + 2 weeks
Receptionist / Administrator –Part time with a possibility of full time, term time only
Pastoral Support – Full time, term time only (two positions)
Inclusion Support Assistants – Full time, term time only (three positions)
Librarian – Full time, term time only
Caretaker – Full time, whole year contract
Site Technician - Full time, whole year contract
General Technician - 0.5 FTE term time only
Lunchtime Supervisor – Part time, term time only

We are now recruiting for teachers and support staff

John Taylor Free School opened in September 2018 with a full cohort of 210 year 7 students and we are oversubscribed for 2019.

We are now looking to expand our staff team accordingly. If you are excited about the prospect of joining a brand new school with a distinctive educational philosophy, we would like to hear from you.

Our school is research led, with a coaching for excellence model. We want everyone in our school community to succeed and thrive; staff as well as students.
