Mathematics & Computing
From the technology we use every day to the calculations that underpin science, engineering and finance, Mathematics and Computing help us understand and shape the modern world.
Through logical thinking, problem-solving and computational approaches, students learn how patterns, data and technology can be used to tackle real-world challenges. The faculty encourages curiosity, precision and resilience, helping students become confident and independent thinkers.

Maths
Mathematics is about far more than numbers. It helps students identify patterns, solve problems and think logically about the world around them. Through topics including algebra, geometry, statistics and probability, students learn how mathematical ideas can be applied to a wide range of situations.
As their understanding grows, students become increasingly confident in reasoning, analysing information and selecting appropriate methods to solve problems independently.
Further Maths
Further Mathematics offers additional challenge for students who enjoy mathematical problem-solving and wish to explore concepts beyond the GCSE Mathematics curriculum. The course encourages deeper thinking, greater mathematical curiosity and the application of advanced techniques to increasingly complex problems.
Computing
Every website, app and digital device relies on the principles explored in Computing. Students investigate how technology works, how software is created and how digital systems can be used safely, effectively and responsibly.
Through programming, computational thinking and problem-solving, students learn how technology shapes the world around them while developing the skills needed to create and innovate within it.
